Meet Volvo Penta at MaskinExpo 2016

For the fourth year in a row Volvo Penta is exhibiting at MaskinExpo, the largest machinery exhibition in the Nordic region. The exhibition is taking place at STOXA (Stockholm Outdoor Exhibition Area) 50km north of Stockholm and is attended by over 300 companies active within construction, road maintenance, haulage, property, forestry, agriculture and mining.

Customers’ needs at the heart of our business

In the years since our first presence at MaskinExpo in 2012, our customer base and the range of machines powered by Volvo Penta, has expanded considerably and that is why we feel it is important to be here and meet our customers face-to-face. We are looking forward to listen to our customers and collaborate on ideas in order for us to find new solutions that our customers can benefit from.

Service is of outmost importance

Of course, productivity for OEMs is not just about the initial installation of engines, but also the ongoing service required. Earlier this year we expanded our Volvo Penta Action Service, meaning that we are now able to support customers in 28 languages, 24-hours-a-day, for 365 days a year. We believe that this kind of support is unparalleled in the industrial arena.

Focus on low emissions levels

In our stand (stand 976) at MaskinExpo we will, among other things, show a D5 Tier4f/Stage IV and a D13 Tier4f/Stage IV both meeting the strongest emission regulations in the industry. As an ongoing effort to reduce the environmental impact of our products, Volvo Penta has now approved the use of hydro-treated vegetable oil (HVO) – neat or blended with conventional diesel – in all of its diesel engines. HVO can be used in all applications where fossil diesel is used today. A reduction of CO2 emissions by up to 90% can be realized, depending on the feedstock used in the HVO production and compared to most conventional diesel fuels; it also results in a substantial reduction of soot and it is sulfur free.

The Volvo Penta stand is manned by staff from Imatech Marin & Industri who are responsible for Industrial sales and aftermarket solutions in Sweden. They are very skilled in our products as well as in our customers applications and they will be able to answer all questions from customers and visitors during the three day long exhibition.

I hope you enjoyed the article, and we look forward to meeting you in stand 976 at MaskinExpo 2016. If you want more information about Volvo Penta and our products, please contact me or visit our website.
