Meet Volvo Penta when we exhibit at Bauma 2016

Volvo Penta is yet again exhibiting at Bauma, the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment. With a growing roster of international customers, Volvo Penta is embracing its strength and depth in the construction and mining industries.

Customers’ needs at the heart of our business

Volvo Penta has never been a company to rest on its laurels. We put our customers’ needs at the heart of our business. We listen to what they want, collaborate on ideas, and come up with solutions to benefit them. And that’s why we’re delighted to be at Bauma again, so that we can meet many more of you face-to-face. This is the third time we are exhibiting at the show, and in the years since our first presence here in 2010, our customer base and the range of machines powered by Volvo Penta, has expanded considerably.

Efficient engines with high productivity

Low operating costs and high productivity are crucial for OEMs and end users operations. They need to have high- performing equipment and the right tools for the job. Therefore, our customers require extremely efficient engines with an excellent fuel economy. Volvo Penta now provides engines for international manufacturers of crushing and screening machines, drills, trenchers and stringers, and high-pressure pumps, among other applications.

Low emission levels are high on the agenda

The level of emissions is an important issue, and Volvo Penta has continually strived to offer the best results, both in terms of legislative requirements, and in order to protect the environment. We have tested and approved HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oils) for use on our engines. In conjunction with our sister divisions in the Volvo Group, we are developing a solution to the upcoming EU Stage V emissions regulations. At Bauma, you will also see details about our new 16-liter Stage II engine and Stage IV Open Power Units.

Service is highly valued in the industrial arena

Of course, productivity for OEMs is not just about the initial installation of engines, but the ongoing service required. Earlier this year we expanded our Volvo Penta Action Service, so that we can support customers in 28 languages, 24-hours-a-day, for 365 days a year. We believe that this kind of support is unparalleled in the industrial arena.

In short, Volvo Penta is happy to work in partnership with our customers, at all stages of manufacture and aftercare. Our focus is your productivity.

I hope you enjoyed the article, and we look forward to meeting you at Bauma 2016. If you want more information about Volvo Penta and our products, please visit our website.
