Shift towards digital-only approach to METSTRADE 2021

Volvo Penta is shifting to a digital-only approach at METSTRADE 2021, which is taking place in Amsterdam and online from November 16th – 18th.

METSTRADE is the largest B2B marine leisure trade show worldwide, which all stakeholders across the industry look forward to each year. At Volvo Penta, we value METSTRADE as an enabler towards cross-industry collaboration and innovation, helping us to drive a common agenda forward across the industry.

‘It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to go digital only at METSTRADE 2021,’ says Johan Inden, President of the Volvo Penta Marine Business. ‘Based on the fact that there is increased spreading of Covid-19 in the Netherlands, we aim to avoid any contribution to the spreading and to limit the impact to our employees.

Through our digital-only approach, we have the ambition to contribute to the dialogue & thought leadership that this trade show facilitates. And, our Volvo Penta team is ready to connect virtually with interested customers, partners, and potential new collaborators.’
